Our philosophy

Amour Brussels: a mix of craftsmanship, vintage, and preppy and Americana inspirations

In our Brussels workshop, we transform clothing and accessories into unique pieces that tell a story. Using carefully selected materials, we breathe new life into forgotten objects, far removed from the standards of industrial fashion. Each creation is a dialogue between craftsmanship, vintage, and influences directly drawn from preppy and Americana aesthetics.

From sneakers to work jackets: a taste for vintage revisited

It all starts with our fascination with timeless classics. We love reinterpreting them in our own way, blending vintage fabrics with artisanal craftsmanship. Our sneakers, for example, are made from Converse sneakers that we completely disassemble, keeping only the sole. We then recreate the upper with carefully selected fabrics: scarves, vintage wools, or raw cottons. Each pair is unique and tells a different story.

We're also revisiting work jackets, the perfect symbol of workwear, by reconstructing them from vintage textiles. Robust and functional, they're given a second life while retaining their utilitarian character. To complete this universe, we're repurposing logos on T-shirts, giving them a graphic and offbeat touch.

Local, artisanal and sustainable fashion

Handmade in our Brussels workshop, all our creations reflect our love of beautiful materials and a desire to consume differently. Our approach is fully in line with upcycling: favoring existing items over new ones, while drawing inspiration from the heritage of the past to offer personalized, sustainable, and timeless fashion.
